nice number.
i thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's sermon
from 1 Sam 7:3-12
a call to clean up (v3)
"if you are returning to the Lord with all your hearts,
a call to look up
a call to set up (v12)
"then Samuel took a tone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, 'thus far has the Lord helped us.' "
a wake up call to
reckon & re-examine
restore & rebuild
respond & return
this is juz the sermon outline. i ve scribbled so much more personal notes on the outline sheet. God's been so good. felt so refreshed from the word.

finally fulfilled my date. watched Leap years with en n lyd n yq. thoroughly enjoyed the movie. really enjoyed the lit.
the depth of longing was well brought out. the 4 gals well represented star-crossed love scenarios - a divorcee, a les, a mistress turned good, n a pining lover. spore's music, landscape, ethnic diversity n even food culture were even showcased! i love the soundtrack. a bonus was corinne may's familiar tunes. wat was unexpected was the humour in the lines! had the audience laughing n crying like some on-off switch!
now the slamming. haha n i really do LLLOOOOVVVEEE the movie! the guy could ve pursued the gal harder than he did la. i was a little concerned abt the message sent out really young pp out there abt going all out. esp one line dat goes "we dont need anyone's approval to love someone. why bother wat other pp think?" (said by the les!) well, like it or not, we cant live as if there is no God. there r consequences.
