CNY

m surprised i m really enjoying my CNY! haha... i was surprised comments and questions like "wish u find ur Ru Yi Lang Jun soon!", "hey quick quick get married ah?", "still no boyfriend ah? not young leh..." didn't bother me and i took it in good humour and sincerely acknowledging n accepting their well wishes etc. even hearing Daniel Beddingfield's "If you're not the one" twice didn't bother me. haha... yes i was 'untouchable' yesterday!

the day started with me nearly hyperventilating... was so freaking out. wo de di yi ci... bro said can c i was nervous throughout. worship went well... despite keyboardist n guitarist not sync-ing at first, mic dying on me, so had to use back-up's mic, so no back-up etc... was still so 'traumatised' till late in the afternoon tho. was really encouraged by affirmation given by so many. i must say dat God showed up. the weather was great! had a good time at grandma's. she din do her 'show' as i had expected. 3rd aunt n family there... then jiu kong po's family came in full force... was fun juz seeing 12 adults and 7 kids in a one-room flat n d havoc created.

then over at po po's... everyone was there relatively early.(usu late late aft) it's always so gr8 2 haf 4 generations tog. man... my cousins r so chio!! then went off to da gu's pl while the rest went 4 dinner.

gr8 time at Da Gu's. had a deep heart-to-heart talk. she really is such a fillial daughter. had a gr8 time wif sis wen we had the whole dinner table 2 ourselves... man! she can remember so many details of our childhood. eg. how i provoked her by taking her fav pink handkerchief n threatening to use "with my milk-breath" on it(she hates milk!) which led 2 her chasing and biting me on the back and how she refused to let go of her bite until i returned her the hankie!haha....! n yes... how she invented the game FRANKENSTEIN! so so fun!

joined our cousins later in the night at Fisherman's village. it's been so so long since we had "full" attendance... 2nd-5th aunts' kids i mean... we hanged out till 4am... so fun drinking, watching midnight movie, then supper, reminiscing good old times (man! we are like so old now!?!?! we needed to start with 'more than 20 years ago....') and e younger 1s listening 2 'old grandfather's stories'. haha... had so much fun! talking abt e silly n naughty things we did, e scary movies we watched dat made me so frightened, and playing MAD DOG!!! sigh... we really had so much fun!

so thankful to God for family. n thankful 2 know how some r growing in faith n trusting the others dat they too will soon return to Him.
